The New Company's name PT. JGC Indonesia (previous name: PT. Pertafenikki Engineering) was officially launched on August 10, 2007. PT. JGC Indonesia has been in full operations as a company purely owned by JGC Corporation long standing reputable organization world wide.
On October 09, 2007 Contract for EPC Revamping RCC Unit Phase II Project of Pertamina UP-VI Balongan had been signed between Pertamina President Director and Consortium's top management of PT. Rekayasa Industri and PT. JGC Indonesia.
At this moment, a consortium of KJP is executing the EPCC contract by BP Berau, Ltd. for the Tangguh LNG plant. The project has completed Month-30. Overall project progress is ahead of schedule. The project is expected to begin production of LNG in 2008.
