Marunda 2.0 Project is situated at Kawasan Industri and Pergudangan Marunda Centre, Bekasi, which includes 7.7 hectares for existing LOBP (Lube Oil Blending Plant) owned by PTSMI & 1.5 hectares for RDC owned by PTSI (PT. Shell Indonesia).

The overall objective of this project is to double the LOBP capacity by Q3 2021 with HSSE and Quality Goal Zero, on time and cost competitively. The expansion also includes Turbine Oils production which requires dedicated facilities due to its sensitivity to contamination.

Even though it was delayed due to Covid-19 PT JGC Indonesia has successfully completed the project by 2022 with the strategy of developing the most efficient and cost-effective means to manage the project in such a way as to ensure to be completed on target with the required performance. The strategy was implemented in the consideration of corporate commitment and involvement, firm and reliable project scheduling, local content strategy and corporate safety policy.
