JIND The Best Contractor for Safety and Health Performance Award from Mitsubishi
On January 10th, 2012, at Permata Krakatau Hotel, Cilegon, Mitsubishi Chemical Indonesia (MCCI) hosted a safety award for contractors who have participated in the Shutdown Maintenance-PSDM project. The purpose of the award is to raise the safety, performance and quality of the contractors in order to be better in future work on the PSDM project. Both local and international contractors attended the award ceremony. PT. JGC Indonesia (JIND) is awarded The Best Contractor of Safety and Health Performance. Mr. Leonard Sipahutar as the QC Manager of this project received the award plaque on JIND's behalf.
JIND team believes that some of the aspects contributing to winning this award from having the right people (qualification) who are up to the task and understand the scope of work, a feeling of responsibility (attitude) of safety and schedule and finally, the ability to plan and to control the work schedule that accommodates the client's requirement and expectation. A good internal coordination between team members and external communication with sub-contractors are also crucial.
