With 35 years of professional experience, all dedicated to JGC Corporation, he has been extensively involved in a broad range of international and domestic projects covering gas plants, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and chemical facilities. His expertise spans engineering, project execution, and the delivery of complex EPC projects across various industrial sectors. Appointed as President Director of PT JGC Indonesia in 2026, he leads the company with a commitment to operational excellence, sustainable growth, and the continued advancement of JGC Indonesia's reputation as a trusted engineering partner.

With more than 15 years experience with PT JGC Indonesia, Sobar Hidayat is now served as Director starting in 2023 with the responsibility of corporate operations and corporate sales & marketing. He obtained his bachelor degree of agriculture in Padjadjaran University and his master degree of management in Airlangga University.

Wahyu Himawan
Wahyu Himawan has served as a Director of PT JGC Indonesia since 2025. He holds Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic Brawijaya University and in Industrial Engineering from ISTN Jakarta. Bringing over 23 years of distinguished experience in the EPCC industry, he has held key leadership roles including Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Engineering Manager.
