Condensate extracted from gas fields primarily consists of naphtha fractions, essential for chemical production, as well as jet fuel and diesel oil, crucial for transportation. Traditional methods require separate desulfurization units for each fraction. Our innovative JUSTTM Condensate process employs a single desulfurization unit to produce sulfur-free condensate. Compared to the conventional approach, this process not only reduces construction expenses by approximately 30% but also slashes operating costs by around 50%, mainly by minimizing utility consumption, particularly fuel. Moreover, this advancement significantly curbs greenhouse gas emissions. The JUSTTM Condensate process stands as the world's most cutting-edge, energy-efficient method for condensate desulfurization.
Process Overview
In the JUSTTM Condensate process, condensate is first desulfurized in a JUSTTM Reactor filled with a customized HDS catalyst, and then the sulfur-free condensate is divided into product fractions by the downstream Advanced Fractionator system, which is the key to reducing energy consumption. A scheme comparison between the typical existing process and the JUSTTM Condensate process is shown in the following figure.
